Beverly Hills...that's where I want to be!

Since summer has begun, I've had some time on my hands. My mom had to take a last minute trip to LA to pick my brother up from a camp. So, I decided to go with her. We decided to go into Beverly Hills. We walked Rodeo Drive and looked at all the beautiful stores. I say look because normal people cannot buy much on Rodeo Drive. For example, at Prada a handbag was $4,000--ON SALE! It was "down" from like $9,000. Crazy! There were some beautiful things to see and the city is so clean. We had a good time dream shopping.

It's summertime and...

time for watermelon!!! One thing you may not know about me, is I LOVE watermelon. It's the best fruit on Earth (at least in my eyes). Jordan will cut up a whole melon, and I could eat the whole thing in one day if I wanted. I don't really think that would be a good idea though. ;)

He's been everywhere!

Jordan's work has been transporting him around the nation. So far he's been to Seattle and Dallas. Next he's off to Las Vegas, Kansas City (KS), and Orlando! All within a few months. I wish I could tag along..but flights are outrageous. He's my little world traveler!

Doubt Not...Fear Not

This year I was called to be a counselor at girls camp. It was a lot of fun. For all you past North Stakers, it's at the same place--"The Rock." Talk about memories! I think I forgot what it was like...all the bugs, dirt, nasty boogers, uncomfortable beds, mosquito bites, extremely yummy food, etc. I think I handled it better when I was younger. I had a great time and enjoyed getting to know all my cabin girls. My co-counselor was Kerri Lawrence, which was so much fun! Haha...we had a good time together. I'll post some pics when I have some.

I "HEART" HALF DOME

Seriously, they should have a warning sign that reads "Only for mountain climbers." On May 31st, we hiked Half Dome in Yosemite with our ward. I still can't believe I attempted this. My very good friend from work came with me. We have no shame--there were tears, sweat, and lots of whining. Jordan was our "little trailblazer," coaching us and leading us the entire way. We wouldn't have made it if it weren't for him! I'm so glad I did this. It makes you feel like you can do anything--that is...until you wake up in the morning (I couldn't even roll over!). The views were amazing!
The treacherous cable climb--eek!
A view from the top.

Jordan's Graduation!

In April, Jordan graduated with his Masters of Business Administration. He worked so hard and put in long hours to achieve this goal. It will really help him in the future and I'm so proud of his accomplishments. Now we can relax...a little. =)
I know the pictures are a weird color--the camera was acting up.

I know its been awhile...AGAIN

Back in April, I went to Utah to participate in my very best friend Linzi's wedding. She looked amazing! The reception was gorgeous and such a blast! It was great seeing and visiting with old friends. I was so happy to be there. Linzi and Jimmy seem truly happy...and I am so happy for them! Congratulations!

And...

I figured it out all by myself...but now I need to go to bed! =)

I don't want to be boring!

To anyone who is reading this...I've been reading and trying real hard to figure out how to change my template. I want to use cute backgrounds, but for some reason I can't figure this "so easy" thing out. Obviously, I'm doing something wrong. If someone could give me step-by-step instructions, I would appreciate it. =)

It's been how long?

Oh my gosh! It's been soooo long since my first (and last) blog, and I'm sure everyone has it memorized by now. Sorry! We've been busy going through many changes--good ones. We have bought a house, a dog, started new jobs, finished school, and the list goes on. This past year has flown by. Stay posted for new blogs. I'm hoping to get more into it...with all my spare time. =)

March 1

Thanks to everyone who thought of me on my birthday! It was a wonderful day. Jordan engaged in service through washing my car, giving me flowers, and cleaning the house. He is a wonderful husband. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

My First Blog

So our lives aren't that interesting...but maybe this will give us motivation. =)
